Zedan Racing got Keeneland September off to a quick start during the first session with a $2 million colt.
Offered by Runnymede Farm, the colt is by Uncle Mo – the sire of Zedan Racing’s Pacific Classic (G1) winner ARABIAN KNIGHT.
He is a half-brother to another Bob Baffert Grade 1 winner in Collected and to the dam of stakes winner Artilena. The colt’s dam Helena Bay is a half-sister to three stakes performers, led by stakes winner Woodwin W with a winning half-sister producing stakes winner Koala Princess.
We are thrilled to add this handsome colt by Uncle Mo to #ZedanRacing! @keenelandsales @coolmoreamerica @runnymedefarmky https://t.co/1SzonlF82d

“Imagine selling your horse for $2 million; there are no words for that,” Runnymede Farm’s Romain Malhouitre said after Zedan’s purchase. “The horse has been awesome since he arrived Thursday. He showed very well, and we knew there was plenty of interest, but you never know.”
The colt joins Beholder’s Curlin colt and a $3.2 million Into Mischief son as seven-figure yearlings purchased by Zedan Racing this yearling sales season.
There are no upcoming entries at this time.
