Buetane, a chestnut son of third-crop sire Tiz the Law, made a sensational career debut when defeating a maiden field at Del Mar by 3 1/2 lengths and earning TDN Rising Star honors. He has since placed in multiple graded events, including the Hopeful S. (G1) at Saratoga, where he finished behind eventual Champion 3YO Ted Noffey.
Buetane was acquired for $1.15 million at the 2025 OBS Spring Sale, where he was consigned by Tom McCorcklin. Her second dam, Grade 1-winner Dream of Summer, also produced Grade 1-winner and prominent sire Creative Cause, as well as multiple graded stakes winner Destin.
