Zedan Racing obtained of the top half-dozen colts during Monday’s opening session of the 2026 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2yos in Training sale when hip No. 13 brought a winning bid of $650,000.
The gray/roan colt was consigned by Cran Thoroughbred Services, agent, with Donato Lanni doing the bidding on behalf of Zedan.
The colt is out of the Pulpit mare Yadira and is a half-brother to stakes-placed Cibolian. Yadira has three graded stakes-winning siblings: $1.5 million earner Mr Freeze and Grade 3 winners Dilemma and Heavenly Ransom.
The colt will ship to join trainer Bob Baffert’s stable in the next few days.
